Authentic Intimacy & Connection – 3h-Intensive

We all strive for deep connection and intimacy on a soul level. We all crave to be fully seen, heard and embraced in the naked truth of our being. We all carry the deep desire of love and belonging.

Yet we all are familiar with the experience of separation and loneliness. Although our desires for intimacy and belonging are so innately human, so universal – although we are all connected through those very same desires – it can seem so hard or even impossible to create meaningful intimacy with others.
It doesn’t have to be. It can be so easy and so simple. In fact: it is so simple.

In this workshop we will playfully explore how to connect authentically with our heart, body and soul. First with ourselves. One root cause of suffering from the feeling of disconnection is shame. Shame about certain parts of us, the dark and the ugly. Yet, acceptance and love of all parts of us is the path of true intimacy with ourselves and opens the capacity to fully show ourselves to others. We can only be met as deeply as we meet ourselves. And we can only be fully seen and heard if we are able to fully open up and show ourselves to others.
In this state of our innocent truth we will practice how to communicate and relate to others intimately. We will realize how our vulnerability, our “dark” and “ugly” parts and flavors are the most powerful ingredients of magical deep connection. True authenticity is in fact inviting and magnetic.

The workshop we will be a mixture of dynamic meditations, embodiment practices and communication exercises. We will balance these practices between being intimate with yourself and getting in authentic touch with others.

There will be no nudity or explicit sexual touch during the workshop. And at no point you are requested to do something that does not feel aligned to you. That said, you should be open for physical touch in general. The thought of holding hands with someone else should not seem repelling to you. But there will always be room for you to check in with yourself if and what kind of touch would feel safe and comfortable to you in each and every new moment.

This workshop is fantastic for everyone, you can come alone or with a partner. For a couple it can be truly magical for you to connect in different ways than you usually do. But it can also be very nourishing to open up to connect with other people of the group and explore innocent intimacy “on your own” for some practices.
Please come in (or bring) clothes that you can comfortably sit and move in. Bring an extra layer of clothes if you tend to get cold easily. Furthermore, please bring a notebook and a pen and a water bottle.
